Bench Warrent issued: Anita Baker Edition

Wow..

Another singer/rapper/actor, another bench warrent. 

This time, it's for the legendary Anita Baker.  AKA Kendrick Lamar's Mama.

(She's not really his mama, but don't they look like the same person)?

She has a bench warrant out for her arrest for  not appearing at a creditor's examination last September in Wayne County Circuit Court.  She was being sued for not paying for services done to her home, more than $15,000 worth.  She shoulda called one of them HGTV shows to come fix her stuff for a budget and got them people to pay for it.

The person suing her didn't want to even send this to court, but he wanted to get paid.  He just wanted to collect his coins for the services he done to the inside of her home.

Bad thing, Anita didn't even know she had a warrant out for her arrest until she found out on twitter.  

This probably could have been handled better on both sides.  

Hopefully they can both make this right.
