Score: 95!
Today's episode of Scandal actually gave me half of my Scandal life. It was full of suspense, we got back stories. There was drama, there was passion, there was just almost everything we are used to seeing when we watch Scandal. I say almost because... we still didn't get any fixing of anyone's life.
Iyanla didn't fix anyone's life tonight.
I think this episode started off better than the last episode ended. We got to see how James was killed. It was more suspense watching him die. James tried to run, Jake shot that good old gun and let James die piece by piece. You think we will still see James as a ghost or in flashbacks for the rest of the season? What if this show goes Soap opera and we find out it wasn't James but his twin or something?
We got the backstory of how James and Cyrus met, when they started dating, and how Cyrus came out of that closet for James. James brought Cyrus out of that closet and the president didn't even care. Two snaps for them. They met, James wore him down, and James got that almost first lady seat.
The team were able to work this week, even though they weren't fixing anyone's problems. It wasn't like last week when everybody was on vacation from filming and they got to sit at home and watch the show like the rest of us at home. Wondering if they still got a damn job. They were able to crack the case like the Scooby Doo Detective Agency to find out what happened to James.
Everyone found out on their own, but they were all aware by the end of the show.
I liked how Olivia's mom confirmed that she isn't a terrorist but she's all about her money. Forget what you think, she wasn't trying to blow up the country, she was trying to get paid. She even let everyone know that it was personal for her take down that plane and let her ex-husband know that she is back and ready to blow stuff up. She was hired by Harrison's ex and now she scared to go through with what she signed up for. Whatever your name is...
Speaking of her ex-husband, Olivia's dad, they had a weird father/daughter moment at the park when she cried about BC13 and he let her know that he has killed people and he knows all those people by name. They had the most weird and awkward moment when they had to hold hands, he was ready to go. He tried to give us a good read, but you can only read so much before it's time to close the book. I'm just saying.
Jake has shown that he is still in there somewhere and even though he is the head of BC13, he is still the same nice guy.... that's what I've been reading all over my Facebook and Twitter, but to me he just looks like a crazy mother shut your mouth!
Quinn and Huck finally had that good old long passionate kiss, which we have been waiting on. She spit on him and he took that spit right to her face. She liked every moment of it, but I bet she run right to Charlie because she lowkey scared of him.
The first lady and the soon to be new vice president had relations on a trip paid for the by the government signed off by the president! Get you some Mellie on that presidential dime.
The best part of the night to me, well the 2 best parts of the night were Cyrus finally breaking down since the love of his life was dead.
And the other part would have been that we didn't get any Olivia/Fitz kissing or sexing on this episode. See, this show can be very entertaining without them slobbing on each other.
