Keyshia Cole took a break at her shift stocking shelves at Wal-Mart and stopped by the Breakfast Club this morning to promote her new single "Rick James" and to clear up a few Rumors.
She basically didn't want to answer all the questions,
but this is what I got from the interview:
1. Last time she had to slap somebody, as her Rick James song says, was a few months ago. She had to slap a man and after she slapped him, she left. (Wonder who that man was.... hmmm).
2. She says she was NOT hating on Beyonce. Charlamagne said it felt like hate to him, but she said it really wasn't hate or directed as hate. She says she heard the "Bow Down" record and it didn't feel like it was the real Beyonce that she has met a few times. I wonder how she feels about the record now that it's a full record about empowerment. And as far as it not being the Beyonce that was so sweet that she met, Bey is attacked daily so in that song, and other songs as well that people just haven't heard being fake fans and not listening to the albums, Bey gets fed up, sings a song about it, and she's back to being nice.
3. As far as the Michelle thing, she says it all stems from a tweet that Michelle said during the Soul Train Awards when Keyshia was performing about her singing with Autotune at the awards. She says she didn't need that.
Keyshia says Michelle deleted the tweet. None of the twitter investigators have ever seen this tweet. And she was just getting back at Michelle for that tweet. She says Michelle called her and apologized but she needs her to do it publicly. But I remember Michelle saying she called Keyshia and apologized for saying something shady saying that it's expected from a crackhead or something like that.

4. This album will be a male bashing album. She wouldn't answer the divorce rumor questions because of her son and she doesn't want to put any of that out there. She says they are co-parenting well. She knows what she is going to do, but she won't say. Also, she says men cannot be faithful and she doesn't feel there's anyone that can love her.
5. She is still not speaking to her mother or her sister. She is thinking about doing a reality show based on the recording of the album. But the album is finished.
