Everyone keeps banking on the fact that they were lesbian women and that's why they were murdered.

That doesn't matter.  It was still two women murdered.

Their bodies were found in Galveston and the cops are trying to put this mess together.

Well, the father of 1 of the girls was charged with Tampering with the evidence. He's a pastor and maybe he didn't approve of his daughter's lifestyle.  Do I think he killed them?  It's possible.  I have seen how people use their interpretation of the bible to give them reasons to go against other things within the bible.

Has he been charged with the murders?  No.  The police probably don't have enough evidence to charge him with murder so they haven't.

Here's the story from KHOU.COM

GALVESTON, Texas – Sheriff’s deputies have arrested the father of one of the women found dead near a convenience store in Bolivar.
Britney Cosby’s father, James Larry Cosby, is charged with 2 counts of tampering with evidence in connection with the death of his daughter and her friend, Crystal Jackson, according to the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office.
The two Houston women’s bodies were found next to a dumpster outside the Fisherman’s Cove store in the 700 block of State Highway 87. A beer deliveryman found the victims around 7:30 a.m. when he took out some trash.
Loranda McDonald, Cosby's mother, said that James was angry that his daughter was gay.
"He said it to me a few times that he did not like the idea of her being gay," said McDonald.
Detectives believe the young women, who were involved in a relationship, were killed somewhere else and dumped at the store. Deputies said Britney Cosby died from blunt force trauma and Jackson was shot to death. They were both only 24 years old.
Investigators initially went to question the 46-year-old father after a candlelight vigil held in the victims’ honor. Their suspicions grew after that.
“Anytime you have a crime like this you want to talk to the family, co-workers, friends to gain any information you can and, during that interview, pretty much it became an investigation,” Galveston County Sheriff Henry Trochesset said. “When we went to the residence to talk to him, some of the things we saw there, it increased and went further. We got a search warrant for the residence and our crime scene investigators were there last night, and after the event at the park, we drove him down to talk to us at the Sheriff’s Office.”
Evidence suggested the women may have been killed at the Houston home before their bodies were dumped in Bolivar.
“The first crime scene we determined was where they were found by the dumpsters. This is another crime scene where blood and other evidence from the crime that occurred was at his residence,” Trochesset said. “That might be the area where they may have been murdered.”
Investigators say, at this time, the father is not cooperating and they do not have a motive.
James Cosby is currently being held in the Galveston County Jail on a total of $500,000.00 bonds.
Trochesset said he has a criminal history.
“From my understanding he got out of prison in October. I believe he is a registered sex offender,” Trochesset said.
While his arrest may be shocking to family and friends, investigators have become used to the shockers.
“I’ve been doing this 30 years, I know the investigators and many of them having been doing it longer than me and you’re never shocked at anything that occurs,” Trochesset said.
The investigation is ongoing which may lead to charges being upgraded to capital murder. Deputies are still searching for the victim’s silver Kia Sorrento.

This is a sad situation and I hope the truth comes out.
